What can I expect at my Freckling appointment?
When you arrive to your freckling appointment we will first consult about your desired results. After determining how many freckles you have in mind I will draw some marks on your face to map out where we want them to fall. Once they are mapped out and you approve the placement, color is determined. I use a cosmetic tattooing machine and semi permanent cosmetic pigment to perform this service. If you experience discomfort I will lightly tattoo the freckles and apply a numbing gel so that you are more comfortable throughout the procedure. In my experience, and based on what my clients tell me, it is a little uncomfortable but not painful.
WhaT can I expect after
my freckling
appointment?
Immediately following your appointment your freckles will appear dark and raised. Also expect some redness and irritaion that will subside over the next couple hours. You will not be able to wear makeup on your skin for one week. Aftercare is quite simple! You can use a gentle cleanser and your clean fingertips to wash your face and moisturize with a fragrance free moisturizer. As they heal avoid picking any flaky or scabby freckles! This can affect the color and longevity. As your freckles heal they will lighten and soften.
How long do freckle tattoos Last?
Tattooed freckles last 2-4 years. That's entirely dependent on your lifestyle; if you smoke, sun exposure, skin type etc. etc.. There are many factors that can affect how quickly semi-permanent freckles last.
